“The First Slam Dunk” stays high on China's field workplace chart

BEIJING, April 28 (Xinhua) — Japanese anime movie “The First Slam Dunk” continued to guide the Chinese each day field workplace chart on Thursday, knowledge from the China Movie Data Information Network confirmed Friday.

The movie is an adaptation of the favored “Slam Dunk” basketball manga collection within the Nineties, written and directed by its unique creator, Takehiko Inoue.

It generated round 11.1 million yuan (about 1.6 million U.S. {dollars}) on the eighth day of screening, elevating its complete field workplace income to 437 million yuan.

It was adopted by the home motion comedy “Ride On” starring Jackie Chan, which raked in 2.98 million yuan on Thursday.

In third place was the Chinese adaptation of the traditional Japanese household drama “Hachiko” with a each day gross of about 2.27 million yuan.
