Tensions are rising between China and Taiwan over an accident by which a Chinese fishing boat capsized throughout a crackdown by Taiwanese authorities within the waters round Taiwan’s distant island of Kinmen Island, killing two folks. Under these circumstances, the chairman of the fisheries affiliation on Kinmen Island gave an interview to NHK and appealed for an early finish to the state of affairs, saying, “We hope that the state of affairs shall be resolved peacefully and operations can resume as normal.”
