In March two years in the past, a male physician working at a prefectural hospital in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka, was unable to acquire consent to alter the tactic of carrying a ventilator. It seems that the was briefly stopped. The physician instructed the interview, “There was no danger to life, and I thought it was within the permissible range to obtain consent,” whereas the hospital compiled a report saying, “There is a serious ethical violation.” After leaving the hospital, he apologized.
