Strike at Jetstar Japan enters second day over unpaid wages

TOKYO, Dec 23 (News On Japan) –
Jetstar Japan’s labor union continues to strike for a second day over unpaid wages, with the corporate confirming that the protest includes eight of their key personnel, together with 4 pilots.

The Jetstar Crew Association initiated industrial motion on Friday, encompassing each home and worldwide flights originating from Japan.

Union officers have declared that the strike is about to final till January 7. Approximately 65 union members are actively taking part on this motion, steadfast of their demand for the settlement of excellent wages.

Four captains, one co-pilot, and three cabin attendants have continued to strike into Saturday, threatening to influence 17 home routes.

Despite these developments, Jetstar Japan assures that their operations stay unaffected. The firm has managed to mitigate the strike’s influence by deploying various personnel to cowl the important roles.
