A steam locomotive derailed throughout a check run on the JR Joetsu Line in Gunma Prefecture late on Thursday morning.
According to JR East’s Takasaki department, the incident occurred round 11:45 a.m. on the outbound observe between Gokan and Kamimoku stations in Minakami Town.
