Shizuoka Family Court guidelines requiring surgical procedure to vary gender on household register “violates structure and invalidates” | NHK

In a petition asking whether or not the availability of the regulation that states that with the intention to change the gender on the household register it’s essential to endure surgical procedure to eradicate reproductive capability violates the Constitution, the Shizuoka Family Court Hamamatsu Branch dominated that the availability violates the Constitution. The courtroom dominated that the process was invalid and allowed girls to vary their gender on their household register even when they’d not undergone the surgical procedure required by regulation.
According to the petitioner, that is the primary time a judicial determination has been made that the availability violates the Constitution.
