Five-time Olympic champion Anastasia Davydova has left Russia and has notified workers at her swimming middle that she has “no plans to return,” based on stories.
Davydova, 39, is among the many most profitable synchronized swimmers of all time.
She received double gold at each the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Games, earlier than successful one other title in London in 2012. Davydova can also be a 13-time world champion.
Following her retirement, Davydova based the Anastasia Davydova Olympic Synchronized Swimming Center in Moscow and was appointed secretary normal of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC).

Responding to the claims, the ROC mentioned it couldn’t verify details about the departure of Davydova or members of her household.
“There have been no formal resignations from the secretary general to the ROC,” learn a Telegram message from the group.
“The ROC apparatus is working in an enhanced mode, the operational efficiency of the organization does not depend on the personal situation of the secretary general.
“If needed, related selections can be made in accordance with the Charter of the Russian Olympic Committee and solely on the idea of verified knowledge,” the message added.
Davydova’s haul of 5 Olympic gold medals places her joint-second on the game’s all-time listing, and is simply bettered by compatriot Svetlana Romashina.
Romashina took her total tally to seven Olympic gold medals with a double triumph on the 2020 Tokyo Games final summer time.
