HYOGO, Apr 14 (News On Japan) –
Prime Minister Ishiba met with prime executives from firms affected by U.S. tariff measures, together with the president of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and emphasised the federal government’s dedication to negotiations and home assist measures.
During a roundtable held in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Ishiba sat down with the president of Kawasaki Heavy Industries and different enterprise leaders to debate the affect of tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.
Ishiba mentioned: “I will return from today’s discussion with valuable insights that will help us build a strong case in negotiations with the United States.”
While noting that the elimination of the tariffs “will take some time,” Ishiba burdened the significance of reflecting on-the-ground issues, stating, “We intend to respond appropriately as a government, particularly regarding cash flow and employment at affected companies.”
