TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police launched an investigation after a pair of corpses with stab wounds have been present in a burned-out condominium in Meguro Ward on Wednesday, reviews TBS News (Mar. 12).
Just earlier than 11:30 p.m., the native hearth division was alerted to smoke coming from the unit within the condominium constructing in Kamimeguro.
According to the Tokyo Fire Department, 20 hearth engines and different automobiles extinguished the blaze about two hours later. However, roughly 20 sq. meters of the unit on the fifth ground was burned.
According to police, a person and a girl, each of their 30s, have been rescued from the unit and brought to a hospital. However, they have been each later confirmed useless.
The girl had been stabbed within the neck. Meanwhile, the person had a stab wound to the stomach, police mentioned.
The entrance door was locked when firefighters arrived. Police are at the moment investigating the circumstances that led to the incident.
The condominium constructing is situated in a residential space roughly 500 meters northwest of Yutenji Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line.
