RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) — Olympic gold medalist goalkeeper Brenno Fraga has joined Fortaleza on a free switch, the Brazilian top-flight membership mentioned on Wednesday.
Brenno shall be tied to the membership till December 2027 with the choice of extending his contract for an additional yr.
“He is a well-trained athlete with good international and national experience,” Fortaleza CEO Marcelo Paz mentioned. “He has impressed the coaching staff and has been approved by the entire football department.”
Brenno was a member of the Brazil squad that received gold on the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Fortaleza completed the 2024 Brazilian Serie A season in fourth place with 68 factors from 38 video games, 11 factors behind champions Botafogo.
