Odakyu Electric Railway has launched an experimental demonstration utilizing XR expertise on the newly put in “Shinjuku Southern Terrace Vision” massive display screen close to the south exit of JR Shinjuku Station.
In collaboration with electrical automobile big Tesla, the show showcased a 30-second three-dimensional video of three main Tesla fashions, together with the ‘Cybertruck’, in movement. By scanning a QR code within the video with a smartphone, viewers can see the Cybertruck seem of their browser, the place it may be managed like a remote-controlled automobile or seen from the motive force’s seat perspective.
Senior Manager Makoto Uchiyama of Odakyu Agency, who’s in control of the experiment, said, “By integrating XR technology with various elements, new value is created. We want to continue to demonstrate this with various partners.” The 3D video is proven 20 instances per hour from 10 a.m. to five p.m., and the experiment will run till the top of the month.
