The twenty seventh marks 9 years for the reason that eruption of Mt. Ontake, which left 63 folks useless and lacking. A memorial service was held in Otaki Village, Nagano Prefecture, on the base of the eruption, the place the bereaved households and others supplied a second of silence on the time of the eruption.
