New Delhi [India], March 13 (ANI): Personnel, ships and integral helicopters of the Royal Australian Navy, French Navy, Indian Navy, Japanese Maritime Self-Defence Force, Royal Navy and the United States Navy will take part in Exercise La Perouse. The third version of the multilateral train La Perouse will probably be carried out within the Indian Ocean Region from March 13-14.
The biennial train La Perouse is carried out by the French Navy and goals to reinforce maritime area consciousness and optimise maritime coordination amongst the taking part navies within the Indo-Pacific area, the Ministry of Defence stated in a press launch.
The two-day train gives a chance for like-minded navies to develop nearer hyperlinks in planning, coordination and data sharing for seamless maritime operations, in keeping with the press launch.
