Japan opened its girls’s soccer marketing campaign on the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games with an 8-0 victory over Thailand on September 14, making a dominant begin to its bid for a 3rd consecutive and fourth total championship.
The girls’s preliminary-round matches started at venues together with Shizuoka Stadium, with Japan dealing with Thailand in its opening Group E match.
