TOKYO (TR) – In the case of a Thai woman who was pressured to work illegally at a therapeutic massage parlor in Tokyo, her mom has been arrested by Thai police on suspicion of human trafficking, experiences Fuji News Network (Dec. 24).
On Tuesday, the woman’s mom was deported to Thailand from Taiwan. She was later taken into custody by police.
The woman, who arrived in Japan in June on the age of 12, is believed to have been pressured to offer sexual providers to roughly 70 clients at a non-public therapeutic massage parlor in Bunkyo Ward launched to her by her mom.
The mom stands accused of kid human trafficking and different offenses for the aim of sexual exploitation.
Interviews with related events have revealed that she has denied the fees throughout questioning after her arrest. “I did not bring my daughter to Japan for the purpose of prostitution,” she mentioned.
The woman’s aunt advised the community, “I really want to see her. I want to see her face and talk to her.” The woman’s grandmother mentioned, “I want to know how this happened.”
Thai police plan to carry a press convention on Wednesday to elucidate the standing of their investigation into the mom.
According to a Thai authorities official, the woman, who’s being protected in Japan, is scheduled to return to Thailand over the following month.
