Mitsubishi Corporation has introduced plans to amass a part of Norway’s Grieg Seafood, investing roughly 150 billion yen within the deal. The Japanese buying and selling home already owns Cermaq, the world’s fourth-largest salmon farming firm, and expects the acquisition to spice up its annual manufacturing from round 200,000 tons to 250,000 tons—elevating it to the second-largest producer globally.
With world demand for salmon rising amid inhabitants progress and altering dietary habits, Mitsubishi goals to broaden its manufacturing capability to safe a stronger place out there.
