New Delhi [India], August 29 (ANI): Mayank Joshi has been appointed as India’s subsequent High Commissioner to Jamaica, the Ministry of External Affairs mentioned on Tuesday.
According to MEA, Joshi is an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the 2003 batch. Presently, the diplomat is serving as Deputy Chief of Mission in India’s Embassy in Tokyo. He is predicted to take up the project shortly.
The MEA within the press launch mentioned, “Mayank Joshi (IFS:2003), presently Deputy Chief of Mission in the Embassy of India, Tokyo has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Jamaica.”According to the MEA assertion, India and Jamaica have historically loved cordial and pleasant relations based mostly on widespread linkages of historical past, parliamentary democracy, membership within the Commonwealth, English language and the love of cricket.
