McDonald’s Japan introduced that it’s going to postpone the launch of its deliberate “One Piece Card Game” Happy Meal marketing campaign, initially scheduled to start subsequent Friday, in response to latest controversy over its Pokémon card distribution.
The firm had supposed to function “One Piece Card Game” gadgets in Happy Meals, however determined to droop the marketing campaign after points emerged earlier this month when Pokémon playing cards had been supplied, together with bulk purchases for resale and meals waste.
McDonald’s mentioned the postponement is a part of a broader evaluation of Happy Meal promotions.
Instead, beginning subsequent Friday, the corporate will present toys that had been distributed in previous campaigns.
