TOKYO, Oct 11 (News On Japan) –
A person arrested in Yokohama on October ninth in reference to the homicide of a 17-year-old lady at a resort in Osaka’s Minami district has admitted to hitchhiking to Yokohama.
The suspect, Shunsuke Fukui (30), unemployed, was arrested on suspicion of murdering the lady, who lived within the metropolis, by strangling her at a resort in Dotonbori, Chuo Ward, Osaka, on September twenty eighth. He was despatched to the prosecutor’s workplace on the morning of October eleventh.
Fukui is believed to have escaped by the resort window. Investigators noticed him leaving a manga cafe in Yokohama on October ninth and arrested him.
Subsequent interviews revealed that Fukui informed police he “hitchhiked from Osaka to Yokohama.”
The police are persevering with their investigation into the motive and different particulars of the case.
