The mayor of Manazuru, Kanagawa Prefecture illegally copied and took out the electoral record and used it for elections. On the fifteenth, I submitted it to the Election Administration Commission, saying that the above signatures had been gathered.

If the signature is confirmed to be legitimate, a referendum can be held to ask whether or not the recall is accepted or not, and if the bulk approves, the mayor will lose his job.
The consultant of the resident group, Iwao Aoki, stated, “The collected signatures are a message from the townspeople. I want the mayor to take this seriously.”
