Pop star Justin Timberlake was handed a sentence of neighborhood service on Friday after he modified his plea to responsible following his arrest for drunk driving, U.S. media reported.
On June 18, the 43-year-old entertainer was pulled over within the city of Sag Harbor, about 100 miles (160 kilometers) east of New York City, after police noticed his BMW undergo a cease signal and battle to remain inside highway lanes.
Sag Harbor Village Justice Court justice Carl Irace handed Timberlake a neighborhood service sentence and ordered the star to make a public assertion after the singer pleaded responsible to a lesser cost of driving whereas alcohol impaired, broadcaster NBC reported.

“His plea today to a reduced and amended non-criminal charge, which is a traffic violation, is consistent with these facts.”
