Japanese High School Builds Their Own Aquarium!

Shuzo Matsuoka visits Ehime Prefectural Nagahama High School, house to Japan’s solely ‘Aquarium Club’, the place they’ve constructed an aquarium that homes about 150 species and over 2,000 native creatures.

The membership opens their self-made, extremely common aquarium to the general public as soon as a month. The aquarium has seen as many as 800 guests in a single day. More than half of the varsity’s college students belong to the ‘Aquarium Club’, attracting college students from so far as Tokyo and Hokkaido for cross-border enrollment.
