JAKARTA, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) — Iran secured a 5-0 victory over New Caledonia in Group C of the U-17 FIFA World Cup on Friday.
In the match held on the Jalak Harupat Stadium in West Java province, Iran had a complete of 46 pictures, in comparison with New Caledonia’s 5. With the win, Iran secured a spot within the knockout section.
In the opposite match of the group, England misplaced 2-1 to Brazil, whereas either side have certified for the final 16.
In Group D, Poland misplaced 4-0 to Argentina, who secured the highest spot within the group. Japan beat Senegal 2-0, and each groups reached the knockout stage.
The group stage of the event continues by means of Saturday.
