India, Japan maintain Deputy NSA strategic dialogue, focus on defence, financial safety

New Delhi [India], August 24 (ANI): India and Japan held the second Deputy NSA Strategic Dialogue on Thursday and mentioned enhancing cooperation in defence and financial safety.

The assembly was co-chaired by India’s Deputy National Security Advisor (NSA) Vikram Misri and Japan’s Deputy Secretary General Keiichi Ichikawa.

In the assembly, representatives of each nations embraced enhancing cooperation in defence, financial safety and criticaland rising know-how and exchanged views on regional and international developments.

Earlier on August 23, Vikram Misri, Deputy National Security Adviser visited South Korea from August 22 to 23 for the fourth India-RoK Deputy NSA degree Strategic Dialogue.

The third version of the Strategic Dialogue was held in India in December 2021.

Deputy NSA Misri met the primary Deputy Director of National Security, Kim Tae-hyo. They mentioned enhancing cooperation in a variety of bilateral areas together with defence trade and know-how, financial safety and provide chain resilience, enhancing Korean investments in India, and science and know-how points.

They highlighted the significance of nearer cooperation on important and rising applied sciences and agreed to step up engagements in these areas. Views on regional and international safety environments had been additionally exchanged. (ANI)
