In an effort to draw new deposits within the “world of interest,” Mitsubishi UFJ Bank is launching a marketing campaign providing a ten,000 yen cashback for brand new account openings by way of smartphones.
The cashback is obtainable to the primary 30,000 clients who open a brand new account via the smartphone app and make a set deposit of 100,000 yen or extra between June 10 and the top of September.
Existing Mitsubishi UFJ Bank account holders are usually not eligible for this marketing campaign.
If the situations are met, 10,000 yen shall be deposited into the newly opened account.
With the Bank of Japan lifting destructive rates of interest in March and the “world of interest” returning, banks are fiercely competing to draw deposits by considerably rising rates of interest on mounted deposits.
