Icelandic man assaults taxi driver in Osaka, flees with out paying 3,000 yen

OSAKA, Oct 24 (News On Japan) –
A 24-year-old man of Icelandic nationality has been arrested after punching a taxi driver within the face and fleeing with out paying the fare.

Security digicam footage from Oct 17 exhibits a passenger getting out of a taxi then banging the motive force’s door together with his fist.

When the motive force will get out, the passenger snatches his glasses, throws them to the bottom, then punches the motive force within the face earlier than strolling away.

Security cameras captured the Icelandic man strolling down the buying road proper after the incident.

The taxi driver is seen chasing him.

Subsequently, the person assaulted the motive force once more, about 180 meters away from the unique scene in Kita Ward, Osaka, after which fled within the course of the station.

The sum of money concerned was roughly 3,000 yen, and the 59-year-old driver was critically injured, breaking bones beneath the attention socket.
