Ibaraki man accused of murdering ex-girlfriend – TokyoReporter

IBARAKI (TR) – Ibaraki Prefectural Police have arrested a 28-year-old man over the alleged homicide of a feminine manicurist in Mito City at her house final month.

According to police, Takumi Ouchi, an workplace employee dwelling within the city of Shirosato Town, is former boyfriend of 31-year-old manicurist Haruka Komatsumoto, reviews NHK (Jan. 21).

On December 31, Ouchi is alleged to have repeatedly stabbed Komatsumoto with a knife and hit her on the pinnacle with a blunt object at her residence.

Komatsumoto suffered over a dozen wounds to the pinnacle, together with a fracture, police mentioned.

Upon his arrest on suspicion of homicide on Tuesday, Ouchi denied the allegations. “The allegations are baseless and I know nothing about them,” he mentioned.

Stalking

According to police, Komatsumoto’s pockets, bankbook and cellular phone have been left within the house. There have been no indicators that the premises had been ransacked.

Police consider the incident was dedicated by an acquaintance with a robust grudge. The investigation is specializing in her social circle.

An examination of safety digital camera footage recorded on the time of the incident implicated Ouchi.

Four days previous to the incident, Komatsumoto had made an nameless cellphone name to Mito Police Station inquiring a few hotline for victims of stalking.

A newspaper reporter tells the location of News Post Seven: “According to investigators, the two ended their relationship two years ago, but the suspect is believed to have continued stalking Komatsumoto since last fall, including asking around her neighborhood about her home.”

Police are investigating whether or not the explanation behind her inquiry to the hotline is said to the incident.
