TOKYO, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) — Japan’s climate company on Monday urged individuals to train warning as heavy snow is forecast to hit primarily northern to western areas alongside the Sea of Japan via Tuesday.
In the six hours via 6 a.m. native time on Monday, snowfall reached about 20 cm in Hirakawa City in Aomori Prefecture, Minamiaizu Town in Fukushima Prefecture, and Minakami Town in Gunma Prefecture, in response to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA).
In the 24 hours via Tuesday morning, as much as 60 cm of snowfall is forecast within the Hokuriku area and 50 cm in Hokkaido and the Tohoku and Kanto-Koshin areas, on account of a strong winter strain sample, the JMA mentioned.
Weather officers urged individuals primarily in northern via western areas alongside the Sea of Japan to be vigilant in opposition to avalanches and snow accumulation on electrical wires and timber.
