In the 24 hours by Sunday morning, snowfall might attain 70 centimeters in Niigata Prefecture, 60 centimeters within the Hokuriku and Tokai areas, and 50 centimeters in Hokkaido and areas of Kanto-Koshin and Kinki, in keeping with the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA).
Weather officers warned that visitors disruptions are attainable throughout the year-end peak journey interval.
As of 6 a.m. on Saturday, snowfall reached 312 centimeters within the Sukayu space of Aomori Prefecture, and 184 centimeters within the village of Tsunan, Niigata Prefecture.
