Caster Wataru Ogasawara: The hair removing salon we investigated in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, presents remedies from age 3. We interviewed Mirichan (5), who has been attending since age 4.
Why hair removing? We requested her mom, who stated, “She came home from preschool one day with her father’s razor, saying, ‘I want to use this.’ When I asked why, she said a friend asked, ‘Why do you have so much hair?'”
Her mom regarded for a spot that provided hair removing for youngsters and requested, “Do you want to go?” Mirichan eagerly responded, “Yes, yes.”
According to a Benesse Education Information survey of fogeys of elementary, center, and highschool college students, when requested, “Does your child care about body hair?” 77.3% answered “Yes,” whereas 20.5% stated “No,” indicating that about 80% of youngsters are involved about physique hair.
57% of fogeys of first graders and 77% of fogeys of third graders stated their kids had been involved. Areas of concern included facial hair, arm and leg hair, underarm hair, and peach fuzz between the eyebrows.
