KANAGAWA (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police have arrested a 35-year-old man for allegedly making the most of romantic emotions a girl had for him as a way to defraud her out of almost 1 million yen, studies Nippon News Network (Oct. 23)
In 2023, Junichi Kimata allegedly defrauded the lady, a trainer aged in her 50s and dwelling in Sagamihara City, out of of roughly 940,000 yen by mendacity to her, telling her that he had most cancers and no cash.
During questioning, Kimata, who lives in Gifu Prefecture, admitted to the costs. “I wanted money to indulge in luxuries that I wouldn’t normally be able to afford,” he stated.
