Fukuoka Prefecture noticed the appointment of its first feminine police station chief this month, who expressed her dedication to deal with catastrophe preparedness.
Miho Ohara, 59, assumed her new position because the chief of Ukiha Police Station on March fifth.
Chief Ohara has beforehand served as the pinnacle of the Hakata Police Station’s Hakata Ekimae Police Box and because the deputy chief of Jonan Police Station.
Ukiha Police Station Chief, Miho Ohara: “My motto is to keep the workplace bright, work enjoyable, and be strict with wrongdoers. Let’s work together to make Ukiha Police Station a place where residents can smile.”
In her handle to the station’s personnel, Chief Ohara emphasised the significance of catastrophe preparedness, citing the record-breaking rainfall and subsequent injury within the Ukiha Police Station’s jurisdiction final July. She pledged to accentuate common coaching and deal with catastrophe response measures.
