Taiwanese electronics large Foxconn is reportedly in talks with Renault, the French automotive main and a key shareholder of Nissan, to amass a stake within the Japanese automaker. Taiwanese media reported the negotiations, highlighting a possible shakeup in Nissan’s stakeholder construction.
The head of Foxconn’s electrical car (EV) division, previously Nissan’s third-ranking govt, has traveled to France for discussions.
Meanwhile, sources point out that Nissan is transferring ahead with talks geared toward a possible administration integration with Honda, which might considerably impression the automotive business panorama.
