“It doesn’t matter what school they are in, they are just American students in the program and Chinese students in the program. Our Flying Tigers Friendship School (and Young Leaders) Program is a community and we are linking specific schools with specific schools in both countries. Our MoU is a very good starting point. It is a community of schools in both countries. It can grow in any number of ways, but again, it will always be based on Flying Tigers (Fei Hu Dui). Because again, that’s something it doesn’t change.”The basis initiated the Flying Tigers Friendship School and Young Leaders Program in 2022 to advertise the spirit of the Flying Tigers amongst Chinese and American college students and deepen mutual respect and cooperation.To date, this system has partnered with about 60 colleges throughout China.The Flying Tigers, formally generally known as the American Volunteer Group of the Chinese Air Force, was fashioned in 1941 by U.S. General Claire Lee Chennault.They got here to China to assist Chinese individuals battle the invading Japanese troops.Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Changting, China.
