First Snow Observed from Kanto to Kyushu as Winter Chill Sets In

TOKYO, Dec 19 (News On Japan) –
A chilly wave bringing midwinter-like temperatures swept throughout areas from Kanto to Kyushu beginning on Wednesday evening, ensuing within the first snowfall noticed in areas resembling central Tokyo and Kumamoto.

By Thursday morning, snowfall had been recorded in southern Kanto, together with Tokyo and Kumagaya in Saitama Prefecture, in addition to throughout many components of western Japan, resembling Osaka, Kochi, and Kumamoto.
