On July twenty first, Marine Day, round 3,000 fireworks lit up the night time sky above Nagoya Port, drawing giant crowds to the annual Nagoya Minato Festival.
The occasion, held in Minato Ward, Nagoya, is a longstanding summer time custom that usually attracts round 300,000 guests annually.
The spotlight of the day, the fireworks show, started at 7:30 p.m., with colourful bursts portray the night time sky in speedy succession.
