MIES, Switzerland, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) — The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) introduced the hosts of the boys’s FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments 2024 right here on Monday.
Greece, Latvia, Puerto Rico and Spain will host the 4 tournaments from July 2-7, 2024 within the cities of Piraeus, Riga, San Juan and Valencia.
A complete of 24 groups will compete within the tournaments with 19 groups qualifying from the 2023 World Cup within the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia, and 5 from the pre-qualifiers in August.
Only the winner of every qualifying match may have the berth to the Olympic Games Paris 2024. The hosts France and different seven groups already certified.
FIBA will maintain an official draw ceremony on the House of Basketball right here afterward Monday.
