A 9-year-old woman was severely injured on Sunday by a falling signboard for a Halloween occasion in Kobe, breaking her leg.
Police obtained a report at round 1pm {that a} stage signal had fallen and injured a woman on the plaza of “Shiawase no Mura” (Village of Happiness) in Kita Ward, Kobe City.
A Halloween occasion was going down on the plaza when the signboard arrange on the stage collapsed and immediately hit the passing woman.
The woman sustained a damaged left leg, though her accidents should not life threatening.
According to occasion officers, the signboard consisted of an aluminum body with fabric stretched over it, measuring roughly 2.5 meters in peak and about 5 meters in width.
Due to this accident, the occasions scheduled for the afternoon have been canceled.
