Humid air flowed in as a result of affect of Typhoon No. 7 heading north within the Sea of Japan, and on the night of the sixteenth, about 100 mm of rain fell in succession in Okayama and Gifu prefectures. In the Tokai and Chugoku areas, there’s a danger of extraordinarily heavy or torrential rain. Beware of flooding and flooding of rivers.
