On the morning of the fifteenth, when Prime Minister Kishida was visiting a fishing port in Wakayama City to assist the election, an explosive was thrown simply earlier than his speech.
Prime Minister Kishida evacuated from the scene with out harm, and one police officer was barely injured.
Police arrested Ryuji Kimura (24), who lives in Hyogo Prefecture, on the spot on suspicion of forcible obstruction of enterprise.
Mr. Isao Itabashi of the Public Policy Research Institute, who’s accustomed to counter-terrorism measures, explains this incident, akin to what sort of explosive it’s believed to have been.
