TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a former part-time employee at bakery chain Kobeya for allegedly utilizing a small digital camera within the altering room of a department in Takadanobaba, Shinjuku Ward to secretly movie girls, studies Jiji Press (Sep. 19).
Between February 8 and 15, Yusuke Toda, 30, allegedly used the small digital camera he had put in within the retailer’s unisex altering room to take tosatsu (voyeur) footage of a 19-year-old feminine coworker getting modified on 4 events.
Upon his arrest on suspicion of violating the Law Banning the Taking of Sexually Explicit Photographs, Toda admitted to the costs, “I wanted to see women changing, which is something I normally can’t see. I wanted to experience the thrill.”
Toda put in the small digital camera on a curtain rail and in his personal backpack to take the surreptitious footage. He then used a pc at his workplace to play again the footage from an SD card and take close-up photographs on his smartphone and save them.
According to police, Toda mentioned that he has been taking tosatsu footage for 3 years. An SD card contained roughly 40 movies of 13 girls, together with the sufferer, getting modified.
Tokyo Metropolitan Police are persevering with the investigation.
In response to the incident, Kobeya commented, “We apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused. We will strive to prevent this from happening again.”
