Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals conducts Shramdaan in Gurugram underneath Swachhotsav 2025

Gurugram (Haryana) [India], September 26 (ANI): As a part of the Swachhata Hi Seva marketing campaign and consistent with the theme ‘Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’, the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC), Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, organised a Shramdaan exercise on Friday.

According to the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, the occasion was organised with the Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT) in Gurugram, Haryana.

The Shramdaan witnessed the enthusiastic participation of officers, led by the Secretary, DCPC.

A complete of fifty officers and staff, together with the Director and workers members of IPFT, took half within the exercise. Together, they carried out Shramdaan on the designated Cleaning Target Unit (CTU) close to Police Station, Udyog Vihar, Sundahera, Gurugram.

Earlier on Thursday, the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti, underneath the management of the Union Minister for Jal Shakti, C R Patil and the Minister of State, V Somanna, organized a large-scale Shramdaan exercise at Kalindi Kunj, Yamuna Ghat from 8 AM to 9 AM, as a part of the nationwide marketing campaign ‘Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’ underneath Swachhata Hi Seva 2025.

The shramdaan noticed energetic participation of officers of DDWS led by Ashok Ok Ok Meena- Secretary DDWS, youth volunteers, Rural Wash Partners, Non-Government Organisations (NGO), Civil Society Organisations (CSO), college students, and many others. Before initiating the Shramdaan, all contributors took the Swachhata Pledge, reaffirming their dedication to maintain their environment clear and encourage others to do the identical.
