Deliveryman in custody over alleged hit-and-run involving bicyclist in Osaka – TokyoReporter

OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police have arrested a 21-year-old deliveryman following a hit-and-run incident in Sakai City earlier this month that resulted in accidents to a feminine bicyclist.

At round 5:30 p.m., a van pushed by Yuto Yamauchi allegedly struck a lady, 54, as she rode her bicycle on a highway in Kita Ward, inflicting her to tumble to the bottom.

During the crash, the lady fell over and suffered minor accidents, together with bruises to her chest and legs. The accidents would require two weeks to heal, police stated.

During questioning on suspicion of tried homicide, Yamauchi partially denied the fees. He stated, “I got into an argument with a woman while I was working as a delivery person. I cut off her bicycle, and she hit a wall and fell off, but I don’t remember making contact.”

As the incident unfolded, Yamauchi is suspected of yelling on the girl via the passenger-side window. “I’ll kill you!” he shouted.

After the incident Yamauchi drove off. However, police tracked him down via an examination of safety digital camera footage and different sources.
