Delhi: One baby injured in huge hearth in slum space close to Rithala Metro station

New Delhi [India], November 8 (ANI): A toddler was injured in a large hearth that broke out in a slum space close to Rithala Metro Station in New Delhi within the late hours of Friday, officers stated.

According to fireside officer SK Dua, the fireplace was declared to be of Medium class contemplating its depth and a complete of 29 hearth tenders have been rushed to the spot.

After hours of dousing operation, the blaze was introduced below management.

‘We acquired data {that a} hearth broke out within the huts of Bengali Basti, situated between Rithala Metro Station and the Delhi Jal Board. Fire tenders have been despatched to the spot, and the fireplace was declared to be of Medium class contemplating its depth,’ Dua advised ANI.

‘A complete of 29 hearth tenders are on the spot, and the fireplace is now below management. A child was reportedly injured, and he has been despatched to the hospital by way of ambulance. There is not any details about any additional casualties,’ he added.
