Court finds ex-toy maker executives responsible of Tokyo Games bribery

A court docket in Tokyo has discovered two former toy maker executives responsible of bribing a then Tokyo Olympic Games organizing committee government.

On Tuesday, Tokyo District Court Presiding Judge Takahashi Yasuaki identified that the defendants had requested the then organizing committee government to assist them win the contract. They paid him about 1.5 % of whole gross sales in return.

The choose sentenced them to at least one 12 months in jail suspended for 3 years, saying that the 2 have admitted to the costs and expressed regret.

The ruling was the third to be handed down within the Tokyo Games bribery scandal.
