Typhoon No. 7 is shifting northwest whereas engulfing the Kinki and Shikoku areas. The Kinki, Tokai, and Chugoku areas are experiencing intensifying winds and rains, and in Okayama and Tottori prefectures, cumulonimbus clouds that develop in succession kind a linear rain belt, inflicting life-threatening landslides and floods. The hazard is rising sharply.
