BEIJING, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) — The Chinese yuan strengthened towards a basket of currencies final week, in response to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS).
The CFETS yuan change charge composite index, which measures the yuan’s energy relative to a basket of currencies, went up 0.65 factors from the earlier week to 97.46, in response to the CFETS.
The index compares the yuan with the worth of 24 currencies, together with the U.S. dollar, euro, and Japanese yen.
