Chinese man accused of pointing knife at ex-colleague at Tokyo DisneySea – TokyoReporter

CHIBA (TR) – A male Chinese nationwide who allegedly pointed a knife at a former colleague inside a banquet corridor at Tokyo DisneySea on Monday has been arrested, police mentioned, reviews TBS News (Dec. 2).

At round 8:00 p.m., a witness on the Hotel MiraCosta telephoned police. “A man suddenly entered the building with a kitchen knife approximately 20 cm long.”

According to police, the suspect pointed the knife on the former colleague earlier than fleeing the the scene. There have been no accidents, police mentioned.

On Tuesday, police arrested Jiang Chunyu, 34, who lives in Kawasaki City, on suspicion of violating the Act on Punishment of Violence and Other Crimes. Jiang denies the allegations.

He mentioned, “I entered the banquet hall and was handing out a protest letter, but they forcibly stopped me, so I simply took out a Chinese knife I had brought with me from my bag. I did not point it at anyone or threaten anyone.”
