China's star spiker Zhu wants time to get better and return to nationwide staff

BEIJING, May 24 (Xinhua) — China ladies’s volleyball star spiker Zhu Ting says she wants extra time to get better from a wrist damage and return to the nationwide staff.

“I played OK in Italy this season, but the condition of my wrist was not very satisfactory, and I am still far from a full recovery,” Zhu, who underwent surgical procedure final spring to treatment an damage to her proper wrist that had troubled her in the course of the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, informed Xinhua on Wednesday.
