A Chinese protection ministry spokesperson on Wednesday sternly warned Japan towards its deployment of long-range offensive missiles, stating that such strikes pose an actual menace to regional safety and represent a harmful path.
Jiang Bin, a spokesperson for China’s Ministry of National Defense, made the assertion in response to a media inquiry about Japan’s latest deployment of long-range missiles with a spread of about 1,000 kilometers, able to protecting coastal areas of neighboring nations.
Jiang famous that, for a while, right-wing forces in Japan have been accelerating strikes towards remilitarization, together with efforts to revise the Peace Constitution, amend key nationwide safety paperwork, and alter the Three Non-Nuclear Principles. The specific deployment of long-range offensive weapons with ranges far exceeding Japan’s territory utterly strips away the disguises of an “exclusively defense-oriented policy” and “self-defense,” he stated.
“This fully demonstrates that Japan’s ‘new militarism’ is no longer just a dangerous tendency but a blatant and real threat, constituting a serious disruption to regional peace and security,” Jiang stated.
He solemnly warned Japan that the outdated path of militarist enlargement results in self-destruction. Should Japan dare to infringe upon China’s sovereignty and safety by drive, it is going to inevitably face a resolute counterblow and undergo an intensive defeat, the spokesperson added.
